Dental crowns

A crown is a protective covering placed over a tooth that has been damaged by decay, fracture, or previous treatment. It restores strength, stability, and everyday function so you can chew and speak comfortably. We take time to explain your options, review what to expect, and ensure the result feels natural.

What a crown supports

• Protection for weakened or cracked teeth
• Improved comfort when biting and chewing
• Long-term stability for previously treated teeth
• A natural look that blends with your smile

Why crowns matter

Some teeth become too weak to support a simple filling. Without reinforcement, they can crack, break, or become repeatedly sensitive. A crown helps protect the remaining structure and restore everyday function, preventing more complex issues in the future.

What happens during a crown appointment

We assess the affected tooth, review our findings with you, and outline your options. If a crown is the right choice, we prepare the tooth, take a digital scan, and place a temporary crown while your custom restoration is being made. At the follow-up visit, we try on the final crown, check the fit and bite, and make adjustments as needed before bonding it securely.
