Root canal therapy

A root canal removes infection from inside a tooth, relieves discomfort, and helps save the tooth from extraction. Most patients find the process far easier than expected once they understand the steps.

What a root canal supports

• Relief from pain and inflammation
• Removal of infection inside the tooth
• Long-term protection of natural structure
• A strong foundation for future restoration

Why root canals matter

Infection inside a tooth won’t resolve on its own. Treating it early prevents deeper complications, pain, and the potential need for removal.

What happens during a root canal

We numb the area, gently clean and shape the canals, disinfect the space, and seal it to prevent future infection. Depending on the tooth, a crown may be recommended for added strength.
